For our Bar & Bistro and the All‑You‑Can‑Eat / à‑la‑carte restaurant at the Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel, we are looking for an experienced and driven Bar Manager. In this role, you are responsible for the daily operations of the outlets and ensure the perfect balance between atmosphere, quality, and results.

These outlets are key hotspots within the hotel. It’s all about experience, flavor, hospitality, and high‑level service. As Manager, you are the face of the department and ensure that guests love to return.

What does your job include?

As Bar Manager, you oversee the full operational and organizational management of the outlets. You lead the team, work hands‑on on the floor, and ensure smooth daily operations. You safeguard the quality of dishes, drinks, service, and presentation, and you step in whenever needed.

You also play a strong managerial role. You handle staff scheduling, coaching, and team development, including onboarding new colleagues and interns. You create a positive work atmosphere and provide clear guidance.

You are responsible for stock management, ordering, cost control, and minimizing waste. You analyze results and adjust where needed to improve both quality and profitability. You also contribute ideas for menu development, concept innovation, and upselling, aligned with the identity of the Bar & Bistro and the restaurant.

You work closely with the F&B Supervisor and other hotel departments to deliver a consistent and outstanding guest experience.

Who are you?

• You have extensive experience as a Bartender and are ready to take the next step as a Bar Manager, or you already have experience in a supervisory bar role within a hotel or restaurant.

• You have strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and beverages, and you know how to share this knowledge with your team.

• You are service-oriented, hospitable, and sociable, able to connect with both guests and colleagues.

• You work in a structured way, take responsibility, and can perform well both independently and as part of a team.

• You are flexible and able to maintain oversight even during busy periods.

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
