We are looking for a motivated and hands-on team member to support our Development Department in delivering new-build, conversion, and renovation projects across all locations where Corendon Hotels & Resorts operates. As Junior Development Officer, you will assist with project planning, coordination, documentation, budgeting, and tender processes, while ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, contractors, and hotel maintenance staff.

You will work closely with the Director of Hotel Development & Design and the Executive Development Officer, gaining exposure to hospitality development standards and franchise operations. With a proactive mindset and attention to detail, you contribute to the success of every project and support both your colleagues and hotel operations.

What does the role involve?

As Junior Development Officer, you will:

  • Assist in the delivery of new-build, conversion, and renovation projects, including hotel and resort developments across all Corendon locations

  • Support the Construction Coordinator to ensure smooth project execution

  • Assist hotel maintenance teams with property improvements and upgrades

  • Study and develop understanding of design standards for hotel brands Corendon operates as a franchisee

  • Review and verify architectural drawings, drawing packages, and production drawings for accuracy and compliance

  • Ensure proper filing and archiving of project documentation according to departmental standards

  • Assist in creating and managing project budgets, and review quotations and contracts with relevant departments

  • Support tender processes and supplier/contractor evaluations

  • Conduct research on materials, suppliers, and trends when needed
