You are the face of the W experience and play a key role in creating unforgettable moments for our guests.

What does the job include?

You ensure every guestroom, public area and heart‑of‑house space is flawless, stylish and unmistakably W. You lead the Style Team with confidence, creativity and an eye for perfection, making sure every detail reflects our bold design DNA.

• As Style Manager, you report to the Director of Rooms Division and play a crucial role in the success of W Amsterdam. You oversee the short‑ and long‑term planning of the Style Department and manage daily operations to ensure all areas meet W standards and original décor guidelines.

  You:

  • Lead and inspire the Style Team to deliver exceptional quality every day.

  • Ensure all guestrooms, public areas and heart‑of‑house spaces are in perfect condition.

  • Oversee inspections, cleanliness standards and maintenance reporting.

  • Manage inventory, materials and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Collaborate with other departments to elevate the full guest experience.

  • Drive operational excellence while supporting financial goals and budgets.

  • Train, coach and develop Talent using on‑the‑job tools and follow‑up training.

  • Maintain open communication and strong teamwork to create a positive work environment.

  • Recognize Talent achievements and celebrate successes.

  • Respond to guest feedback and continuously improve service performance.

  • Bring the W experience to life through design, detail and flawless execution — Style is an essential function within W Hotels.

• Key resonsibilities

  • Lead, coach and inspire the Welcome Team to deliver exceptional service from arrival to departure.

  • Ensure seamless operations across both buildings in line with W service standards and procedures.

  • Create personalized WOW moments together with the Insider and Whatever/Whenever teams.

  • Be the guardian of the guest journey, ensuring every touchpoint is stylish, warm and on‑brand.

  • Collaborate with all departments — from Housekeeping to B&F to Engineering, to elevate the full guest experience.

  • Prepare Talent for every shift with strong communication and flawless handovers.

  • Thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with music, movement and constant guest interaction.

  • Champion the W brand so the Welcome Office always reflects the W lifestyle.

  • Handle escalations with confidence, keeping the guest at the center of every decision.

  • Support the team on the floor — hands‑on, visible and leading by example.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an (Executive) Housekeeper Manager or in a comparable leadership role.

• Valid work permit for the Netherlands.

• Fluent in English (Dutch preferred; additional languages appreciated).

• Strong leadership skills with a people‑first mindset.

• Passion for design, styling trends, and the W brand.

• Exceptional eye for detail perfection is your standard.

• Creative, flexible, and always in the know about what’s new/next.

• Able to thrive in a high‑pressure, high‑volume environment.

• Positive, upbeat and energetic,you embrace change and think fast.
