We are looking for an experienced and passionate Banqueting Manager who will lead and further develop the entire banqueting operation within Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Corendon Village Hotel Amsterdam opened its doors in spring 2018 and is one of the largest hotel and conference locations in the region. The hotel consists of three separate wings: Plaza, Apartments and Urban. With 680 rooms, suites, studios and apartments, as well as eleven multifunctional meeting rooms, we are a leading venue for meetings, conferences and large-scale events. The hotel also features multiple restaurants, bars, spa facilities, a swimming pool and even a cinema.

As Banqueting Manager, you play a key role in the success of our corporate events and special occasions. You lead the team, safeguard quality and ensure seamless cooperation between all hotel departments.

What does the job involve?

As Banqueting Manager at Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you are fully responsible for the entire banqueting operation within one of the largest hotel and conference venues in the area. With eleven multifunctional meeting rooms, large event spaces and an international guest profile, you play a crucial role in delivering successful meetings, conferences, gala dinners and large-scale events.

You are the central point of contact for internal departments and ensure that Sales, Kitchen, Front Office and Operations work closely together. You oversee planning, quality and service on the floor, making sure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impression. From preparation to execution, you maintain oversight and step in whenever necessary.

As a leader on the floor, you know how to motivate and develop your team. You create structure, set clear expectations and foster a positive working environment where guest experience always comes first. At the same time, you critically review processes and cost control to ensure the operation remains efficient and commercially strong.

Your key responsibilities:

• Coordinating and leading all banqueting activities within Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport

• Ensuring flawless execution of meetings, events and large-scale functions

• Leading, coaching and developing the banqueting team

• Safeguarding quality standards, service levels and guest satisfaction in line with Corendon standards

• Optimizing staff planning, deployment and operational processes

• Working closely with other departments to guarantee a consistent and high-quality guest experience

In this role, you combine operational decisiveness with strong leadership and attention to detail. You ensure that our banqueting department does not just perform well, but truly excels.

Job Requirements

• Flexibility, including availability in the evenings and weekends.

• Relevant work experience.

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

• Strong communication and administrative skills.

• Customer-centric approach.
