What does the job include?

As a Guest Service Supervisor, you play a key role in delivering the full W guest journey. You:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Welcome Desk and support the Welcome Office Manager

  • Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver bold, stylish and personalized service

  • Stay in the know — you’re the expert on the hotel, the city and all insider hotspots

  • Ensure every guest interaction reflects the Whatever/Whenever® service philosophy

  • Support and guide Talent in creating memorable, elevated guest experiences

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and operational excellence

  • Work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends

  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations

  • Build strong relationships with guests, colleagues and partners

  • Thrive under pressure and keep the energy high, even during peak moments

Job requirements

As our new Guest Service Supervisor at W Amsterdam, you bring the skills, confidence and personality to elevate every guest interaction. You have:

  • MBO/HBO degree, preferably in Hotel Management

  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role (Team Leader / Supervisor)

  • Fluency in English and Dutch

  • Experience as a Guest Service Center Agent and Team Leader in the hotel industry

  • Experience in the luxury segment (preferred)

  • A natural feel for style, trends and the W lifestyle

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide Talent

  • A passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences

  • The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment

  • A bold, confident and guest‑focused mindset
