Join the Corendon Family as our new Housekeeping Manager

To expand our team, we are searching for you as our new Housekeeping Manager for Corendon Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

In this role, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes from managing the housekeeping team to keeping our planning and systems organized.

What does the role involve?


As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our apartments consistently meet the expectations of our guests.

You’ll be responsible for leading and organizing our housekeeping department.

Your main goal is to ensure our guests always enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You’ll manage the daily operations, create work schedules, and keep structure in place through clear systems and procedures.

You’ll guide, train, and motivate your team, so everyone knows what to do and feels proud of their work.

You’ll regularly check rooms and public areas to maintain high standards and make improvements where needed.

Working closely with other departments such as Front Office and Maintenance, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a hands-on management role: you’ll combine planning and coordination with real teamwork on the floor.

  • What you’ll do

    • Lead, coach, and motivate the housekeeping team on a daily basis.

    • Plan and coordinate work schedules to ensure efficient operations.

    • Monitor quality standards and make sure rooms and public areas always look spotless.

    • Implement structure and maintain clear systems for inventory, cleaning schedules, and reporting.

    • Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

    • Support the team hands-on when needed, you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves.

    Who you are

    • You have experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or hospitality environment.

    • You’re organized, structured, and good at keeping an overview even on busy days.

    • You know how to lead a team with energy and a positive attitude.

    • You communicate clearly in English (Dutch is a plus).

    • You enjoy working in an international, dynamic environment.

Job requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in hotels, or a similar environment.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
