W Amsterdam is looking for a passionate, energetic and service-driven Spa Host to join our award-winning Away Spa team.

What does the job include?

As a Spa Host, you are the face of the Away Spa and play an essential role in creating memorable wellness experiences. You welcome guests with genuine hospitality, ensure all spa facilities are impeccably presented, and assist guests throughout their wellness journey.

In addition to hosting duties, you are trained to perform a selection of spa treatments and wellness services, ensuring guests experience the highest standards of luxury, care and relaxation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming guests and creating a warm, professional and personalized arrival experience

• Conducting spa tours and explaining treatments, facilities and wellness experiences

• Performing spa treatments according to W Amsterdam and Away Spa standards

• Advising guests on treatments, products and wellness recommendations

• Ensuring treatment rooms are fully prepared, clean and inviting before and after appointments

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of spa relaxation areas, changing rooms and guest facilities

• Assisting with reservations, scheduling and guest requests when required

• Replenishing towels, amenities, wellness products and guest supplies

• Creating unforgettable guest experiences through personalized service and attention to detail

• Monitoring guest satisfaction and proactively responding to wishes and expectations

• Following all hygiene, health and safety procedures

• Reporting maintenance issues and operational concerns where necessary

• Collaborating closely with Spa Therapists, Welcome Desk, Style, Engineering and other hotel departments

• Maintaining a polished, professional and stylish appearance in line with the W brand

• Contributing to a positive and energetic team atmosphere

• Delivering the luxury, lifestyle and wellness experience that defines W Amsterdam

• Passionate about wellness, hospitality and guest experiences

• Available on a parttime and/or flexible 0-hours basis

• Experienced in hospitality, wellness, spa operations or guest services (preferred)

• Certified to perform beauty, wellness or massage treatments (preferred)

• Guest-focused, outgoing and naturally welcoming

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently as well as in a team

• Flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
